How it is priced
Cleaning is priced by the size of the roofline and honestly by how bad it has gotten. A single-story ranch that gets cleared every year is not the same job as a two-story that has not been touched in five seasons. Our minimum fee is $250, which covers getting a crew and equipment to the house, so it is worth asking about your gutters and any small repairs in the same visit.

Do gutter guards still need to be cleaned?
Yes, but much less often. Gutter guards block most leaves and larger debris, but fine material like pine needles, seeds, and roof grit can still get through over time. Most homeowners with gutter guards only need a cleaning once a year instead of multiple times per season.
Can you clear the downspouts too, or just the gutters?
Both. A clogged downspout is often the actual problem, because the gutter can look reasonably clear from the ground while the elbow at the bottom is packed solid with grit and shingle granules. We clear the downspouts as part of the work and check that water runs all the way through before we leave.
